As you may or may not know but last year I fell in love with Lord March’s time travel festival, the Goodwood Revival. This year the love towards the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s style venue was even deeper. The 20th Revival was unforgettable!
This time last year was the first time I used my brand new Fujifilm system, Fuji X-T2. You can read about it here. This year I had no surprises and I even had extra gear with me. An extra Fujifilm body by Hire a Camera and extra lenses I bought since 2017.
Recently I have started to use a manual focus lens from ZY Optics, the Mitakon 35mm which can be wide as f/0.95 This makes life hard to get the focusing right and this is why I love it. Sharp, nice contrast and to be honest why better for manual focusing than if I use one of the Fujinon lenses, which ones are focusing electronically. So if you want beautiful bokeh and dreamy like pictures try to get one of this Speedmaster lenses for your system. You won’t be disappointed at all. The only thing is hard to get one for under £500.
